These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Hangar, a vehicle management platform operated by Single Track Software LLC ("we", "us", "our"), available at thehangar.appand through our mobile applications (the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
2. Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
- One person, one account. Automated account creation is not permitted.
3. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload or enter into the Service, including vehicle data, photos, descriptions, and posts ("Your Content").
By publishing content (making a vehicle, profile, or post public), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display that content as part of the Service. This license exists solely to operate the Service — for example, showing your published vehicle on your public profile page or in the discover feed.
You can revoke this license at any time by making the content private or deleting it.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or violates the rights of others
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Use the Service to spam, harass, or send unsolicited communications
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service beyond what is provided through our public pages and APIs
- Upload malware or malicious code
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose not authorized by us (e.g., selling products through posts without permission)
5. Photos and Intellectual Property
You must have the right to upload any photos you add to the Service. Do not upload photos you do not own or have permission to use. We may remove content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
6. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
7. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@thehangar.app.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. We will notify you by email unless the violation requires immediate action (e.g., uploading illegal content).
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (which, for a free service, is zero).
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
